TORONTO, ONTARIO - J.L. Albright Venture Partners ("JLA Ventures") announced today that three of its managed funds, J.L. Albright IV Venture Fund L.P., J.L. Albright IV Parallel Venture Fund L.P. and J.L. Albright IV Parallel II Venture Fund L.P. (collectively, the "Funds") have acquired through the facilities of the Toronto Stock Exchange 1,200,258 common shares, 237,707 common shares and 62,035 common shares respectively of publicly traded Espial Group Inc. ("Espial"). After completion of the acquisitions described above, JLA Ventures controls 1,500,000 common shares of Espial, representing approximately 16% of the total issued and outstanding common shares of Espial. JLA Ventures may, directly or indirectly, depending on market and other conditions, acquire beneficial ownership of, control or direction over, additional common shares, through market transactions, private agreements or otherwise.
