(TORONTO – September 28, 2006) – The board of directors of redCity Search Company Inc. (“redCity or the “Company”) (TSX Venture Exchange: RDC), a local internet search engine company, today announced the appointment of Elaine Kunda as President and CEO of redCity.
Elaine Kunda is an experienced entrepreneur and leader who has succeeded at transitioning growth companies from concept to profitability. She has multifaceted experience within both the on-line and off-line media sectors. Elaine was formerly Managing Director at Toronto.com and Business Development Manager at Grey Interactive.
Effective immediately, Roger Abbiss, president and CEO, and Sandra Antoniani, Vice-President of Administration and General Counsel, are no longer with the Company. The Board of Directors thanks Roger and Sandra for their contribution and efforts and wishes them success in their future endeavours.
