Basis100 Inc. was a technology solutions provider for the financial services industry, and enabled businesses to build, distribute, buy and sell products and services in more efficient and innovative ways. Basis100’s lines of business included lending solutions for consumer credit, mortgage origination and processing, data warehousing and analytics solutions for automated property valuations, property data-warehousing, data products and analytics support, and capital markets solutions for fixed income trading.

The company had all six major Canadian banks using its technology and had enlisted over 1,700 US mortgage vendors to use its automated valuation service for residential mortgages.

Our initial investment in Basis100 was made in December 2002. Basis100 Inc., which formerly traded on the Toronto Stock Exchange, was acquired by First American Corporation in September 2004.
