Isolation Systems Limited was a manufacturer of software and hardware products used to create Virtual Private Networks ("VPN"). The Company's VPN products were designed to ensure secure, authenticated and confidential communications across any data network including Intranets and public networks such as the Internet. The Company's products allowed organizations to leverage the cost savings and flexibility offered by the Internet without sacrificing corporate data security. Isolation Systems Limited customers included the U.S. State Department, U.S. Armed Forces, Toronto Hydro, Canadian Department of External Affairs, Toronto Dominion Bank, Wellington Insurance and iStar Internet Inc.

Our initial investment in Isolation Systems Limited was made October 1996, with a subsequent investment in November 1997. Isolation Systems Limited was sold to Shiva Corporation in 1998, which was subsequently acquired by Intel (NASDAQ: INTC).
